Wow this week went by fast! It was full of preparations to go, errands and driving all over the place to see everyone before I left. I made egg drop soup, an attempt at coleslaw (which was not good at all, never leave the sweetener in a recipe out when all the other fluids are vinegar) and egg plant parmesan. On Thursday I got to see Danielle. On Saturday Mom and I went down to San Marcos to see John, who treated us to lunch! Such a wonderful treat! Suzy and I met for lunch on Sunday, she brought me some really great sun dresses to take on my trip. It was very nice getting to see everyone before I leave, it meant a lot to me. After I got back from seeing Suzy, Mom and I went down to Lake Travis to go on Gary's sail boat, the So Long. It was soo cool! The dogs even got to come. Aphid was never really sure about it, Pip and Squeak loved it and had no problem walking around. Aphid had to be held the entire time, she was scared and shivering the whole time. :( Maybe after a few times out on the boat she will get her "sea paws". Then after getting back from the lake Paula and I got to hang out and watch "The Other Guys" pretty darn funny if you like spoofs.
So yeah its Monday.  I need to finish packing, go over my list (for about the 100th time) make sure every thing is taken care of here before I leave. Ahh! This time on Thursday will find me sitting in the Airport waiting to board my plane!!! Soooo scary!! I think Im ready, I think Im ready...

Week Four 1/17/11- 1/23/11

This week was AWESOME!! Some one took over my lease. Found out I get to go Costa Rica. I leave Feb 3rd!! Got to see Jenni and  Ann Marie in one day. I was also lucky enough to attend a photography workshop. Next week is all about packing and getting ready for costa rica. So freaking excited! Trip of a life time!

Week Three 1/10/11-1/16/11

This week has been a fairly mundane, just more moving and unpacking. Got some great shots of the Hemi. As well as moved my life forward a few steps. Looking forward to the changes that are coming in the near future!

Mom's truck all packed. I did it! So proud of myself! Loaded and unloaded, then unpacked it all!

Hemi in the lens that covers the light fixture in the living room. We have not been able to put it back up because we don't have the heart to take away his favorite spot!

Week Two 1/3/10-1/9/10

This week was full of more changes. I went and applied to some substitute positions. This week it was hard to pick my favorite. So I will probably post a few. Great weekend with the TTC management ladies at the Ladd's Ranch. It was a great learning experience!!

Week One 12/27-1/2

This was my last week at the San Marcos #2 Store

Leaving was bitter sweet, it marks the ending of a 2 1/2 year period in my life. I am on to knew beginnings and new adventures! Life here I come!

11 things to do in 2011

So its that time of year again. And I have made 11 goals for 2011. There were a few rules I made for myself, seeing as it is me. 1. They had to be tangle-able. 2. They had to be realistic
So with out further ado here they are!
1. Read a classic novel
2.  Go to Costa Rica
3.  Get my Teacher Certification and my own classroom 
4. Go to a new city in the US
5. Loose 10 pounds and keep them off
6. Run at least one 5K
7. Ride in a Hot Air Balloon
8. Go on a Blind Date
9. Do a Photography Weekend Workshop
10. Buy a new Little Black Dress
11. Get my Tech Certification
